Our Services

What We Do

SapperSix provides comprehensive civil and environmental construction services with a focus on federal facilities, utilities, transportation infrastructure, and emergency response. Our capabilities span the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution through closeout and documentation.

All work is performed with Lean construction principles, strong safety protocols, and quality management systems designed to meet the stringent requirements of government and regulated contracts.

Civil Construction Services

  • Mass excavation, trenching, backfill, compaction, and soil stabilization for infrastructure and site development projects. Work includes utility trenches, foundation excavation, and large-scale earthmoving operations.

  • Rough and fine grading for building pads, roadways, drainage systems, and access improvements. We provide survey-grade precision for complex grading projects requiring tight tolerances and engineered specifications.

  • Structural demolition, concrete removal, asphalt removal, and selective demolition. Services include saw-cutting, core drilling, jack-hammering, and precision demolition in occupied facilities or sensitive environments.

  • Land clearing, vegetation removal, tree removal, stump grinding, and debris hauling. Site preparation includes demolition of existing improvements, removal of underground obstructions, and preparation for new construction.

  • Gravel roads, access routes, temporary haul roads, and permanent paved surfaces. Subgrade preparation, base installation, and coordination with paving contractors for final surfacing.

  • Shoring, bracing, temporary access, erosion control, and emergency construction support. Rapid mobilization for disaster response, facility damage, or urgent infrastructure needs.

Environmental & Industrial Services

  • Contaminated soil excavation, removal, and disposal in accordance with regulatory requirements. Work includes underground storage tank (UST) removals, petroleum-impacted soil remediation, and hazardous material excavation under oversight by environmental consultants and regulatory agencies.

  • Handling, packaging, transport, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Services include asbestos-containing materials, lead-based paint debris, contaminated soils, and industrial waste streams. All work performed with proper certifications and regulatory compliance.

  • Tank cleaning, decommissioning, removal, and disposal for above-ground and underground storage tanks. Services include confined space entry, vapor monitoring, product removal, tank cutting and sectioning, and site restoration.

  • Installation and maintenance of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for stormwater pollution prevention. SWPPP implementation, erosion control measures, sediment barriers, and compliance inspections.

  • Dry and wet utility locating using vacuum excavation and hand digging to expose underground utilities prior to excavation. Hydro-vac services for safe utility exposure in congested or sensitive areas.

  • Hauling, material delivery, hydro-vac services, equipment rental, roll-off containers, vacuum trucks, and general site support. Mobilization and demobilization services for contractors and project sites.

  • Immediate response for hazardous material spills, releases, and emergencies. Services include containment, cleanup, material handling, waste disposal, and site stabilization. Available 24/7/365 for emergency situations.

Support Services

  • Quality assurance and quality control programs tailored to project requirements. Inspection planning, material testing coordination, non-conformance tracking, and corrective action implementation. Documentation and reporting for owner acceptance.

  • Site-specific safety plans, job hazard analyses, activity hazard analyses, and safety training. Field safety oversight, toolbox talks, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance. Coordination with safety consultants and third-party safety services.

  • Owner's representative services, contractor coordination, submittal review, RFI management, and construction oversight. Support for design-build, design-bid-build, and alternative delivery methods.

  • Evaluation and processing of contract changes, field directives, and scope modifications. Documentation of changed conditions, cost impacts, and schedule impacts. Support for negotiation and dispute resolution.

  • Development and management of project schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM). Budget tracking, cost forecasting, change order management, and financial reporting. Risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.

  • Planning, coordination, execution oversight, and closeout for single projects or multi-project programs. Development of project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and management plans.
